The Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation, Inc. handed out its 38th Box-Office Entertainment Awards last May 13 at RCBC Plaza in Makati City. The awardees were lead by John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo who were named Box-Office King & Queen of 2007 for the movie One More Chance.
Mart Escudero won Most Promosing Male Star (female counterpart, Marian Rivera) for the movie Hide and Seek and Shake, Rattle & Roll 9. He was nominated along with ABS-CBN's Gerald Anderson for I've Fallen For You, Raver Cruz for Happy Hearts and Bahay Kubo and Zanjoe Marudo for You Got Me. Ngayon ko lang napansin, si Mart ang nag-iisang kapuso amongst the nominees and he managed to win. Makes me so proud of Mart! :)
