Regal Entertainment, the home studio of phenomenal love teams, presents a new couple that's going to fascinate moviegoers. They are Mart Escudero and Jennica Garcia who are starring in the horror "Hide & Seek". With Mart and Jennica in this big and awesome production set in the scenic countryside are Eric Quizon, Jean Garcia, Alessandra de Rossi, Valeen Montenegro, Julijo Pisk, Angel Sy, Rubirubi, and Ryan Eigenmann. The new movie is directed by Rahyan Carlos and written by Gina Tagasa.
Mart and Jennica were first paired in GMA Network's top-rating drama "Impostora." The response to their team-up was impressive! They quickly became a favorite topic of discussion in internet forums and message boards. The two exuded instant chemistry the moment they shared the screen. Fans recognized this and hence the popularity of this beautiful pair. Imagine, after less than four months since "Impostora," Jennica and Mart now have two TV shows on GMA Network: "Pasan Ko Ang Daigdig" and "Boys Nxt Door," and their first Regal movie. Other love teams took a while to gain a fan base but not Mart and Jennica.
What's the reason for the Mart and Jennica magic? It's because Mart and Jennica genuinely care for each other. In "Hide & Seek," where Jennica plays Nica (whose stepfather was accused of a grave crime) and Mart plays Joseph, Nica's ardent admirer, they're each other's acting coach. "Lagi kaming nagpa-practice ng lines na magkasama," reveals Jennica. What's more, director Rahyan Carlos allow Mart and Jennica "direct" the scenes where they have to be sweet. "Hindi niya kami binibigyan ng instructions. He lets us do our thing kasi kumportable na kami ni Mart sa isa't-isa kaya mas sweet," Jennica discloses.
She says that she and Mart are looking forward to the opening day of their first major movie. "Excited na excited kaming makita ang sarili namin sa big screen! Hindi namin ma-explain ang feeling kung gaano kami kasaya!" Meanwhile, proud mother Jean Garcia admitted that she is confident that Jennica will do all her best to be the next premiere actress in town.
The wait won't take long. "Hide & Seek" opens in theaters nationwide soon. It's Regal's and Mart and Jennica's big treat to fans. |
