In deference to the father's death wish, Buboy and his mother (Rio Locsin) look for and gather the rest of the brood under one roof. They are the rebellious Migs (Aljur Abrenica), the mischievous Atom (Mart Escudero), the genius Jiro (Justine Plummer), and the pet-loving and youngest and only girl Nikki (Eunice "Charming" Lagusad).
Tiborxia: I remember one rainy taping afternoon when the scene was Migs and Atom were fighting because the latter wouldn't want his stuff borrowed. They both hit each other, it was damn realistic! They have played their characters pretty well. I would have to give due credits to the Casting Staff.

Buboy's mother pursues a job abroad and he and an uncle, Badong (Benjie Paras), take care of the other children. The "Boys Nxt Door," plus Nikki, learn to adjust to each other's contrasting traits, not to mention uncle Badong's comic eccentricities.
Tiborxia: As far as what I know of, Badong will be the key to a good relationship amongst brothers. I hope he would be effective on such as Benjie is well-known on playing comic characters.

There's still another boy next door, the handsome Decdec (Kiko Junio), who is Buboy's best friend.
Tiborxia: Decdec would be Buboy's bestfriend? Did I get that right? The only thing I know about Kiko Junio's character is that he falls in-love with Jesi Corcuera's.

GIRLS NEXT DOOR – Of course there are girls next door, residents of a ladies dormitory across the boys' house, owned by the strict Ms. Malinis (Janice de Belen). The girls next door: The baduy ate Sari (Glaiza de Castro), the kikay Coffee (Kris Bernal), the sosy Isabel (Stef Prescott), the bombshell Winona (Rich Asuncion). And then there's Milo (Jesi Corcuera), the "bro" among the girls. Now, Jesi is a self-confessed lesbian offcam. Very pretty though. Which made Kiko fall in love with kuya Milo, hoping (against hope) to turn her into a woman. Good luck.
Tiborxia: I have to commend Kris for she carries her role very well. The first time I told Kris that she's effective with Kikay roles was during the Maynila taping (with Mart) and the second would be BND. You'll love Coffee when you see her dressed in all-pink and doing her kikay act! I have not seen Rich act on BND yet, but with her oh-yeah so-gorgeous body, she'll definitely be a hell of a bombshell! I'm looking forward to Milo and Isabel though as I haven't heard any feedback on their performance in BND as yet. Is Kiko really in-love with Jesi? Hell, tell it to the rest of the world but Tiborxia. =)

As in all youth-oriented TV shows, romance, friendship, bonding come into the picture of "Boys Nxt Door" circa 2007, which replaced the fantasy-comedy "Magic Kamison" topbilled by Gladys Guevarra.
Tiborxia: I'll miss Magic Kamison. What's next for Jewel Mische and Paulo Avelino? I really have not heard any upcoming projects for Jewel and Paulo. I know Juju's back on SOP by July 1st. Juju's suspension in SOP is synonymous to Pau's appearance in the show as well.

Anyway, all is set for BOYS NXT DOOR. Their last promo prod will be at SOP this sunday. I'm pretty sure it'll be grand as this sunday's SOP is also part of GMA's 57th Anniversary Celebration. Sayang nga lang at wala kami sa studio this sunday.
