Boys Nxt Door premiered last June 24. Last sunday was the 4th week since it has hit the Philippine television, and they've lost ratings to competing network's Love Spell -- consistently. How bad can it get? Out of the 20 shows that GMA aired last sunday, the only shows that lost in ratings were Jesus the Healer (-0.80), SOP (-1.0) and BND (-0.30). Which means GMA lost 15% of their shows, 5% each for JTH, SOP and BND.
15% lost to 85% gain isn't bad after all, is it?
But when you look at BND's performance for the last 4 weeks -- its a total dismay! Well, atleast for me who expects a lot from the show. 3 out of the 5 Ultimate Male Survivors of Starstruck leads the show (and soon SS1's Mark Herras will join the roster who by the way already taped last Saturday morning), that alone is a sufficient reason for the show to hit. And in all fairness to BND, it has improved on its ratings, 0.30 difference against LoveSpell would be something we can look forward to.
I'm still crossing my fingers for better numbers! =) |
