I was doing my daily run at iGMA thread and came across happyjam's post regarding an article in PeP.ph with the headline: Kris Bernal disappointed with Mart Escudero's lack of effort. I am Furious! I am Enraged! I am Hopping Mad! (but I am happy...)
I don't read pepster comments, but this I have to. At least, I am at peace of the general opinion. The 11th comment, from 'dreamer' says iha baka ayaw sayo talaga ni mart? at ayaw din siguro magpakaplastic nung tao na maging sweet sayo kuno. you guys were given the chance, the opportunity. pwede naman kayong magshine as individual talents and not base your popularity/career sa mga kaloveteam nyo. just improve your craft kesa magkunwari kayo na something is going on na wala naman. matatalino na kaya mga viewers ngayon.
My blow;
Kris said: "Naguguluhan ako sa kanya, e," may hinanakit na sabi ni Kris. "Hindi ko na alam kung ano kami ngayon as a loveteam. ‘Yung inaasahan ko na mas ipakita niya na dapat mag-work ang loveteam namin, hindi ko na nararamdaman. Parang wala na ‘yon sa kanya."
Tiborxia: If you are confused of where your status (as a loveteam) with Mart is currently, why not talk to him? Did you approach him? Ano ba sa tingin mo ang dapat na ipakita ni Mart to show that your loveteam is working? You are doing well in Boys Nxt Door! Mart knows how to value his work, he knows he won the title with you.
Kris said: [on the Swarovski] "Itinago ko na lang siya somewhere!" sabay tawa ni Kris. "Hindi ko na nga alam kung saan ko itinago, e. Before kasi, importante sa akin ‘yung gift niyang ‘yon. Ngayon, parang wala na, kaya itinago ko na lang."
Tiborxia: You said it yourself. And you have been saying it eversince. You might not have understood how important and special that Swarovski WAS for Mart.
Kris said: "Ewan ko... baka nga," biro ni Kris. "Na-meet ko naman na si Jenica, pero hindi kami nakapagkuwentuhan. Parang nagkasalubong lang kami dito sa GMA-7. Hanggang ganun lang. Siguro si Mart na lang ang tanungin n'yo regarding that. Kasi siya naman itong nagbago at hindi ako."
Tiborxia: Jenica has nothing to do with this. You very well know that!
Kris said: "As for Mart, bahala siya. Basta ako, kapag sinabi ng management na lagyan ko ng effort ang loveteam namin, gagawin ko ‘yon because nanalo kami ng title na Ultimate Loveteam. Sana nga lang, kung mag-e-effort ako, maglagay din ng effort si Mart."
Tiborxia: Mart is doing his share. If GMA management asked you to give some effort for the loveteam, then you might have wanted to ask them why aren't you given that much of an exposure as a pair.
My general opinion;
Needless to say, I am defending Mart. Kris telling everyone that Mart has a 'lack of effort' towards their loveteam is off. On what grounds? What kind of effort does she want? This is plain resentment on Kris' part.
As a fan: I have once or twice (I can't remember) defended KRISMA (Kris-Mart Loveteam) in this blog, iGMA, PEX and in Rickey's blog. I have once been a KRISMAtic. But the pair is not as good as it seems to the the public. It was all-wrong to begin with. Kris will be better with the Ultimate Hunk. Oh GMA, hear my cry!
Kris, bitter? Could be.

At ngayon na kinakitaan ng potensyal at hatak ang Mart and Jenica loveteam, sasabihin ni Kris na hindi nagbibigay ng effort si Mart sa loveteam nila. Is there a need para pilitin na ipakita sa publiko na kailangan e pa-sweet sila? At ano ba ang desisyon ng GMA? Nakasalalay lang ba sa effort ni Mart ang kahahantungan ng kanilang pagiging Ultimate Loveteam? A big NO! kahit anong effort mo kris at ni mart, at kahit anong effort ng mga fans para sa loveteam nyo, GMA pa rin ang masusunod. Sa nakita ko, may ginawa ang GMA sa KRISMA para mapansin noong una. Along the way, nagkaroon ng problema, AT SI KRIS ANG UNANG SUMUKO. Ngayon, SI MART ANG SINISISI nya.
Hindi po pakikialam to. Opinyon lang base sa mga naobserbahan ko at sagot sa article sa taas. My famous word: MAGPAKATOTOO PO TAYO.

not that i play a role on this i just want to exercise my freedom of speach....
From the title itself "Kris Bernal disappointed with Mart Escudero's lack of effort" my question is, does she really have to get interviewed regarding this?
Is this something that should be coursed through media and not the management?
Besides if she wanted something to work why not talk to Mart? Maybe she did... whatever came out of it I dunno and I don't have know.

What is she insuating? What is she trying to imply?
Kris what do you want Mart to do anyway? You didn't say... when do you say someone shows effort? What effort are you looking for? Why do you say there's lack of effort? Are you looking for the filipino stereotype of loveteams where the pair ends up with a relationship?
And the Swarovksi... why is that supposed to be mentioned... not very kindred.
Jennica Garcia is not even supposed to be mentioned she's so out of this... This is between Mart and Kris.
The whole premise of this interview is way out of line.
I do not want to say that the writer or Kris is out of their marbles because I know they are not, and prolly hope not. But with everything I read that Kris said, this makes me question her maturity... no it does mean she's immature or childish... but what level of maturity is there.
Now the question is, did the writer choose Kris's statements that he'll have to put as content of this article. Are we miscontruing something?

IMHO, na kay Kris ang problema. Starstruck pa lang nakadepende siya masyado sa loveteam. Parang di siya magsha-shine pag walang loveteam.
Sa mga nababasa at napapanood ko sa tv, halata naman na iba ang gusto niyang ka-loveteam talaga kaya siguro di niya nakita ang effort ni Mart para magwork ang loveteam nila. Ngayon ko lang nalaman na may "Im Soooo Done with Mart" line pala siya. So siya ang unang sumuko kaya wag magtaka kung bakit hindi na magwo-work ang loveteam nila ni Mart. It's time to move on Kris. Mas bagay naman talaga kayo ni Ultimate Hunk. Hehe.
Gladly, si Mart ay naka-move on na at mas bagay sila ni Jenica talaga. Height pa lang swak na. Lalo na sa actingan. Natutuwa ako sa loveteam nila kasi "natural" ang dating dahil maganda ang pundasyon. May kiig factor talaga! Ramdam mo ang spark talaga. Yiheee!
Manood kayo ng Impostora para malaman niyo kung bakit number 1 ang show na ito ngayon. Yun lang po. :)
